About my results?

I was in ER with Chest pain and shortness of breath, pain was really severe near My heart. They did EKG right away which came normal, than blood work, Chest X-RAY and a CT SCAN. at that point everything came negative, pain also subsided and they let me go but ask for a follow up with my doc.
I went to see doc, He said nothing is abnormal except for some " NONSPECIFIC CHANGES IN EKG" and He ordered 2 test, Nuclear stress test and Echo Doppler.
Today They told me everything is normal.
I am 32 , male, healthy otherwise. I was wondering why they ordered so much and why nothing came back? what was the cause of pain and shortness of breath. I dont have any symptoms anymore except for very dull pain in chest. I am going to see him soon, do I need more investigation?

If ever you have chest pain or shortness of breath (SOB) it is taken seriously, which is why so many test were run. Another reason so many were run is because the culprit of your complaint was not identified. Why you presented with your symptoms, I don't know. There are many different reasons. What were you doing at the time of the onset of your pain and SOB? Exercise can cause this. Stress could also be a factor. Dehydration is also a possibility. Or something more severe could have been going on, but a heart attact would have been identified with all of the test that were run. Sorry I could not be of more help, hope your doctor can determine the cause of your problem.

The symptoms sound to me like a heart attack
And if the doctor said everything was normal, then maybe it is?
I'm not sure, you should ask him some questions the next time you see him.

Wow. Over investigation or what! Musculoskeletal (benign) chest pain or a bout of pleurisy I expect. It sounds like this is all settlng down.. What you need is some reassurance not more tests.

And it certainly isn't pancreatitis. Nurses. Jesus whatever next. It could be malaria.

the ER doctor asked you to follow up with your primary care physician -do it.
