If you ate three small beetroots is it likely that your pee would be red for a couple of days?

Would it be that or would it be because I had an injection (nuclear???) for a scan or....am I bleeding inside?

Your Pee turned red, because of the beetroot. OK !
This is quite normal.

Beetroot does discolour your urine.

I think you have to eat a lot of beetroot, so I would take a sample into the docs just in case

Ive eaten beetroot and its NEVER changed my urine colour.

Depends on amount etc, Ive eaten more than 3 small ones.

Might be injection, doubt bleeding inside, blood in urine is quite easy to spot.

Check with doc.

Urine can get discloured but I think you would have to eat quite a bit on a daily basis. Dont muck about guessing ring up your Doctor and get it sorted.
Doctors would rather you came early with symptoms, it is better to treat.

Good luck.

Beetroot affects me that way.

yes

Having beetroot is a 'test' to see if your stomach is producing enough acid to digest properly, apparently if you make enough stomach acid then your pee is not affected. For more info read Green For Life by Victoria Butenko.
However since you are obviously not well anyway get to the doctors as soon as you can (and be ready to do a sample)

It could, but you have to probably eat a large amount, please go to the doctor just incase.

My husband eats picalliy and it turns his urine bright yellow, so if that does that, im almost positive beetroot can change the colour of your urine too
