Allergies: suffering running nose in spring, how to prevent?

Dear friends,
This is my second time I have to suffer running nose diagnosed allergie when spring comes. In your experience, what are the best ways to prevent from this disorder? I would highly appriciate the share of your good sources of information about this disease.

Check with your doctor and ask for a daily medication to help prevent the symptoms. There are several good ones--many over the counter ones as well. You can also ask you local pharmacist to recommend one for you. they are usually a great help.

I have the same problem - a air purifier in the bedroom really helps at night. Try honeywell - dont get that crap from sharper image use the ones that actually get the dust and pollen out

hayfever? go to the doctor for some antihistamines, or buy over-the-counter allergy pills at your drug store.

Everyone suffers from a runny nose in the spring. It's just life. If you must, then get allergy medicine from your doctor, but only if it's truly necessary

take a daily anti-histamin tablet and be done with it, not much else you can do i dont think

A natural remedy that I have been using (effectively) is to eat a tablespoon of honey from a local grower every day. Give it a try if you can find some.

Try an inhaled nasal spray such as Beconaze.
