Ughh,, i keep thinking about getting my tonsils taken out. Anyone been through this? |
I'm losing my mind thinking about this. 2 days ago I asked a bunch of questions on Y! Answers but I'm still not at ease. Last Thurs. I went to a ear, nose, throat specialist because I have sleep abnea side effects. For those who dont know sleep abnea is a sleep disorder where you stop breathing for 10 or more seconds while sleeping. This is serious because it happens in the deepest time of sleep when you actually get the most rest, there fore when I wake up I feel tired and nod off during the day. My ear nose throat doctor say my adnoids and tonsils are huge and may be the cause of the sleep abnea and as a result the need to come out. I'm going crazy thinking about it. I'm 15 years old and I'm acting like a big baby but I'm ok with that. Its my first surgery ever and I am so not lookng foward to it. Anyone have any tips on anything? Like food reccomendations for afterwards, words of encouragement, or anything else? help, please? Just stay calm! you'll be out cold so you won't feel a thing. :] and you'll get to eat popsicles for your recovery! |
