Is an overbite attractive?

Hi there.
I suffer from a mental condition called Body Dismorphic Disorder. It's a little like OCD but it's more appearance-orientated. I spend hours in front of the mirror every day- not through vanity, but because I hate what I see. On different days, I feel differently about different parts of my face. In the past i've had concerns about the shape of my nose, my cheekbones (lack of), my chin, jaw, teeth, eyes, lips... everything, really. Right now a major concern of mine, is my overbite. Family and friends are always reminding me of famous beauties with overbites: liv tyler, sophia loren, patricia arquette, etc. People often tell me i look like liv tyler but hey. As far as i'm concerned I look HIDEOUS.
Nevertheless. I DO have an overbite. And I DO have BDD. So, at the risk of receiving potentially devastating opinions...

i have an overbite and personnaly i hate it im getting braces as soon as possible although i rarely ever get teased i still dont like it

Overbite is not ugly and even if some people find it unattractive we cant all be the same

Everyone has an overbite. You're supposed to have an overbite. If you didn't have one, you'd be a freak.

i've never been diagnosed with bdd, but i've always thought i've had it.

have you ever tired antidepressants? they do help.

on the subject of an overbite, i think most people have them, even if just slight. usually, no one else would ever notice, but you.

i have an overbite of my bottom jaw and it does bother me sometimes but my family and boyfriend say im beautiful so i try and forget about it, but i think it is beautiful!

everyone has somewhat of an over bite and actually if you get braces they fix your teeth so you have a little bit of an overbite. Also, They are not very noticeable at all. You probably only notice because of your BDD. I hope your BDD gets better. have you tried medications or therapy. I know it is probably really hard because BDD is how you see yourself not how everyone else see's you so it is probably really hard to control and/or get over BDD.
