Symptom of Hypothyroidism?

My question is for anyone who has had to live with hypothyroidism; were you ever doing something and all of the sudden your energy took a nose dive, you started talking like you were very tired, and you starting yawning a lot? I was recently diagnosed with the this disorder and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a symptom like mine.

I have had all of those things happen to me and then some. My problem is that one Dr said that I have the disease and another said that I don't. For 2 years I was on the medicine and felt allot better. But now I have moved, have a new Dr and he said that I don't have this disease and won't give me the meds. I feel achy,get carpel tunnel in my wrists,feel exhausted 90% of the time,have no libido,feel cold most of the time, and sometimes I have night sweats. Sometimes, I am so exhausted that my words slur and I can't even wash my hair without over exerting myself. I have no clue what to do about the problem, but I hope that you have started your meds. I hope they work for you.

I had thyroidectomy last year so I am technically hypothyroid. For this I am taking a T4 hormone to supplement the loss and I get my TSH tested regularly. Dont worry once you are on the hormone you will feel better.

Symptoms for hypothyroidism fatigue, loss of appetite, lack of sex desire, low heart beat and feeling cold. Luckly medicine is very very cheap and once you start taking hormone you will feel normal and fine

If this happens a lot to you, it may be that you aren't converting enough T4 into T3. Doctors give most patients T4, with the idea that their body will convert the T4 into T3. Sometimes the body doesn't convert enough and the person will be left with symptoms of fatigue, depression, or muscle and joint aches. The remedy.....take a T4/T3 medication like Armour thyroid with it being adjusted by free t4 and free t3, not by TSH.
