What Mental Disorder Is This?
I am on antidepressants for moderate depression and severe anxiety, and they have helped somewhat, but not nearly completely. I have this thing where I think I am doing things that I'm not; like I'm flipping out at my desk or my nose is flaring, or I'm going out of control or some weird things. What is this????? Please help this is absolutely ridiculous.

Weird, I used to have things like this. One time, I was sitting at my desk in high school, and I had a vision that my neck snapped off. It was so real, but I never thought to mention it to my doctors or anything.

If this is just happening, it may be a side-effect of the drugs you're on. Talk to your doctor if that's the case.

If you've had this before starting medication, severe anxiety can cause hallucinatory experiences. Panic attacks, etc. are all somewhat on a separate level of 'reality' that a normal individual would experience, and the fact that you described your anxiety as severe makes me think that your mind is freaking out so much with anxiety that it's distorting your thoughts, or 'awake' dreams (that's not a technical term, but the best I can use to describe it) and making them a. more intense and realistic and b. more ridiculous.

Actually, either way you need to talk with your doctor. I don't think you have another mental condition, I'm pretty sure its from your medication or an oddball side-effect of your anxiety. However, it's always better to ask a therapist or doctor who knows you. Good luck.

Sounds like to me you are suffering a possible panic attack? I would certainly call your doctor. If that is it, they are horrible. Good luck.

It could be something like Tourette syndrome or you could be having extrapyramidal side affects (EPS) from your medicine. If you are taking medicine, especially psych meds do not stop them abruptly as there is an increased chance of developing EPS. Ask somone to describe your meds again and tell your heath care provider about what is happening they are the best source of information for you and not Yahoo Answers.

sounds like an anxiety disorder and the symptoms of a panic attack anxiety is commonly asscoiated with depression and is a common symtom of this illness
