What is this!!?

So I've been getting a stuffy feeling in my ear lately and they hurt slightly...Sometimes I feel some pressure around them as well...I also have a stuffy nose, a little dizzy, and a kind of pressure headache. When my doctor looked in my ear, he just said it was allergy related and put me on antihistamines..Is is really related to allergies or can it be something more serious like a brain tumor of some sort?? Help me please...I'm only 17 and I also have an anxiety disorder, so this isn't helping.

This is common during fall and spring seasons. It's deffenitly allergy and sinus. Don't be scared. Along with an antihistamine I take a decongestant. Benadryl severe allergy and sinus works good it has both the antihistamine and decongestant in it or you can go with Sudafed. They basically do the same thing. The dizziness is because of your ears being clogged. You'll be okay.

u can try a cat scan. or sumtin to look at your brain if ur thinking u have a brain tumer.

You are fine, now go back to bed!

even the slightest amount of fluid in the ear can cause pain, pressure, headache, and dizziness.
If dr said it was allergy-related and put you on anti-histimines, chances are he saw fluid in your ear or redness from recent fluid that has drained.
Be sure to take the anti-histimines as he directed, or fluid will just build back up in the ear.
Hopefully we have a good freeze soon to kill the pollens and help allergy sufferers! My daughter suffers from severe allergies, and she often has the same symptoms you have ... and it is fluid from allergy drainage that causes it. She has to take her anti-histimines to avoid the complication.

I have had the same symptoms. My doctor explained to me there is a sinus cavity between the eardrums that has been affected by my allergies. He gave me a nasal spray that seems to be helping. Not having as much pain or pressure around the ear.

These symptoms do not appear to be any of those my daughter suffered from when they found her brain tumor.

I would not be concerned about this, especially if your doctor has ruled it out, unless you have any new symptoms that could be more homogenous with those of a brain tumor.

How much cardio-vascular exercise are you getting weekly - what sports do you participate in?

God bless and with kind regards,
