Flue and anxiety ... :(?


about 2 months ago i was diagnosd with anxiety disorder and a week later after that i got this cold/flu and i drank some benedryl but it cured my runny nose and nasal congestion but it made my throat hurt then a doctor told me cold medicines increases anxiety symptoms so i got like a pressure feeling on my throat now i notice every time i run or execrcise my tonssils start getting pain but the worse part is taht my flue hasnt gone away makes my body feel weak and nasty im currently taking robitussin DM cuz the doc said its good for ppl that have anxiety+cold/flu and yesterday i got this nasty sensation in my throat that was very uncomftarble i was coughing so much but only little bits of phelm came out and the sensation stayed in my thraot till i went to sleep, today i coughed a little bit of blood with phelm how can i get rid of this flue :( and if any 1 can help tell me why do i get these throat symptoms ? thnk u

I'm wondering if you might actually have strep throat, my whole family got it we just recently finish off the last of 10 days of antibiotics. My son had it the worst his turned into scarlett fever.
The whole thing was pretty scary. But scarier still is that an ER DR refused to have a strep culture done on my daughter & I because we wernt running a fever (it was a sunday so our regular DR office was closed) which is common in the first stages of strep, but we had already past that point. He told me my insurance would be charged more because our visit wasnt
justified as an emergency, I left there untreated crying and still feeling like crap! Monday morning we all went to our DR and sure enough we all had it!!! I should sue the crap out of that ER DR for refusing to treat my family. Get a strep culture done just to be sure PRETTY PLEASE!!

Go back to the doctor and tell him about the blood (put some in a jar to take along if it happens again), and see http://www.anxietypanic.com/signs.html and practice daily for 20 mins. and whenever the anxiety recurs, the techniques in: http://www.healthyplace.com/communities/ Your immune system may not be working properly, so have that checked out if those problems keep coming back, and eat healthy foods, and exercise daily.
