What is the most relevent test to diagnose non small cell lung cancer? Many times the physician will order a bronchoscopy. The tumor can then be biopsied if it can be visualized during the procedure. A mass or tumor might be seen on a chest x-ray or a CT scan, but it does not tell us what kind of mass. A biopsy of the tissue in the mass is the only way to definately diagnose non-small cell cancer. |
