| *Home>>>Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer |
December 2005 I had non-small cell lung cancer. What are the chances of re-occurrence? I am not well. Help? |
My tumor was confined. They said no chemo or radiation was needed. I was to be observed and checked every 3 months. I had my last CT one year ago. Now I have a cough, wheezing, fatigue, severe migraines, increased body pain and depression. i think that you need to go back to the doctor and request a bone scan to check the bones in you body. cancer can spread to the bones. i have a friend and her dad had non small cell lung cancer and he done the treatments and it had spread to his bones.and for the depression i don't know what to tell you there i have never been in that situation and i cant tell you how to cope with the lung cancer. but i think that you should live life to the fullest and don't let nothing hold you back.go day by day and try not to think about tomorrow.just get out of bed every morning and thank god that you got to see another day. Did you go to an oncologist ? If not you probably should go to one and get their opinion on this. This whole situation does not sound right to me. If it wasn't a benign tumor, then it seems to me there should have been chemo and/or radiation, but I am not a doctor. You have a right to get copies of your CT report. Go to the place where you had it done and tell them you want a copy for your records. Also any x-rays you can get copies of..if a hospital go to the medical records department and show ID and tell them if surgery records, surgeon's notes, labs and other tests that you want copies of...if private x-ray facility, ask them for copies. You need to see exactly what is going on. It doesn't sound good. You may want to see your doctor Immediately as treatment works better EARLIER than later. Also, strongly consider drinking Essiac Tea. There are many sources for this; here is a link for a reliable company. They make a good quality generic of it called 4-Herb tea. Read the testimonials. My daughter is going to start taking it to try to get rid of her chronic cough from whooping cough. Look at the link below: |
