What are all the aditional investigations,for a patient who is found to be a non small cell lung cancer? |
radiology,histopathology,haematology,bio... Once the cancer is biopsy proven,most patients will undergo a PET scan and a bone scan.The pet will show if the cancer has spread to surrounding lymph nodes much earlier than a CT or MRI. The bone scan will look for the spread of cancer to bones or other areas.Treatment can be surgery,radiation and chemo or a combination of the three. Sometimes radiation is done first,then surgery or surgery then radiation and chemo.Survival of course depends on the stage.Stage 1=45-50%,stage2 24-26%,stage 3 5-8% stage 41-2% 5 -year survival. bronchoscopy - inspection from the inside using a device guided into the lungs through the throat |

The drug is already marketed by pharma BAM in Russia under the name Glutoxim. Fir... there is a place called cancer treatment centers of america. try them cancer is all they do. ...I work at the hospital and find funding for people in the same situations.
