Any non-prescription drugs in the US that lower heart rate? |
Beta-blockers are preferred, but they're prescription, and my doc won't get me a script for it. Any other options? Hawthorne Berry will lower your heart rate and is over the counter Exercise will help, it increases heart health so your resting heart rate becomes slower. The more in shape you become the slower your resting heart rate will be. I also know of some herbal helps that can naturally re-balance the circulatory system, prescriptions only cover up the symptom, not the problem. I'll need to ask more questions to pinpoint which herbs will be most effective, email anytime. Beta-blockers work directly on the heart. Its proven. Thats why they are prescribed. It may only "cover" the problem, but in the mean time you need to get your heart rate down. If you do have a problem, maybe you should see another dr who will prescribe one for you. |
