TRUE that some combination of non prescription drugs kills HIV virus, if taken early after sex?

We would love an easy fix...but it is not true. HIV viruses are inherently delicate and therefore difficult to contract. You have a 2% chance of contracting HIV even with a direct exposure. BUT, that doesn't mean that you won't get it. And repeat exposure increases risk. So does having another STD.

Just remember that it is much easier to get Hepatitis B. MUCH. And you can't cure it either.

So just go for safe sex. Use the condom and prevent the disease.

No...No....No! Don't play with fire here. If you believe you have been exposed to HIV/AIDS, go to an ER and get tested. It will probaby be negative early on but they can give you the HIV cocktail. There is no non-prescriptive medication OTC that will prevent you from HIV...if there was, they couldn't keep it on the shelves , now could they!

Stupid rumor. Viruses are notoriously difficult to kill. I use vinegar to kill any cold viruses I get, but I have found that it does not work as well on worse viruses or bacterias. However, vinegar is the only anti-viral "medication" you can take that won't kill you, too. Yeah, that's what killing viruses in you would often involve.
Then there's the fact that the HIV that causes AIDS can slip past the blood/brain barrier and hide in the brain where any treatments or drugs cannot go. It can hide there, wait until the coast is clear, and come back out and start all over. It is truly a life sentence.
