HIV and Oral Conditions--URGENT? |
I read that certain oral conditions are either usually or primarily found in HIV-positive patients. Conditions like Oral Candidiasis, Oral Hairy Leukoplakia, Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), etc. If I do not have any of the oral conditions associated with HIV-positive patients, either usually or primarily associated with them, does that mean I do not have HIV? Or can I still have HIV? This question assumes I had sex with a stranger whose HIV-status I don't know. To be honest, I haven't gotten tested in about 6 months and it's been 6 months since I last had sex...So I guess I had sex a bit after my last test...Would the absence of any oral symptoms for 6 months mean I don't have HIV? Just because you don't have those, doesn't mean you're not HIV positive. Get tested QUICK. i guess the only way to find out is ..... wait..... or ask a professional..... it can take a really long time before you see any symptoms. you could have contracted the virus and not get infected as well. You should just go and get an HIV test. Call your local United Way, and they can refer you to a clinic to get one. This is the only way you will know for sure, and feel better about it all... Really, if you are sexually active, and you have had unprotected sex, you should get tested for HIV every six months... there is always a chance. i hope and believe you are safe but have the doubt, the one that says GET TESTED because HIV agents are not all identified. best of luck. Yes. you could definitely still have HIV. if you have any suspicion of HIV you should see a doctor NOW> i mean right now, not tomorrow morning. HIV can be exchanged by blood, sexual transmissions. even a cold sore when kissed. get yourself checked NOW! Best get checked, out for this, i dont know how long it has been. Web MD has a lot of information, on this matter. Best check it out, to save yourself all the worry you have . Hope this helps. get a blood test, ew You can be HIV positive and have no signs of anything wrong for several years after infection. You need to be tested for the next 7 years. It is know that it can take up to 7 years before HIV positive can appear by being tested. In the future keep your legs closed to any sexual activity. Would you want to be the one in 7 years to go back and figure any one you might have had a sexual encounter with, look them up, and have to tell them that you are HIV + and they need to be checked. Hello!! You can not be that Nieve. Sorry, for being so forward or rude, but this is nor funny matter get tested. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hiv-aid... now is about six months..you can have a test and see the results.. if you dont have those symptoms, it doesnt mean you dont have HIV.. Think you better have another test done? Why are you sleeping with stranger's. That is CRAZY!!!! Please stop for your own sake. |
