How to cope :(?

with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Usually, when really difficult things happen people go through an initial "horror" period, but then Nature somehow gives them what they need to cope. Sometimes its a matter of being a little numbed and just doing what needs to be done. Sometimes someone decides to fight something as if it were an enemy. Sometimes someone has someone else or something that inspires them to stay strong and keep going.

Some people find support from other people who have gone through something similar.

Sometimes people just get so busy doing what has to be done they don't have a lot of time to think beyond what's going on in the moment.

Many people get through rough times by having faith and praying.

Some people with cancer want to be with people and just be "their old self" rather than being "the cancer patient". They may want life to be as normal as possible, believing that the disease will not take more from them than it already has.
