Nicotine Gum????

Hi, i gave up smoking last march with the help of nicotine gum.
My problem is , I still use the nicotine gum and it says on the back of the box that if you have to use it for more than nine months, to see the doctor.
I am wondering if anyone out there usues the gum and still uses it. Surely it can't do you any harm still using it.
Is anyone else using nicotine gum and has done for a while.
I find it hard not to have it around...

You've substituted addiction to one form of nicotine with another form... you need to quit... but taper off gradually so you don't go back to the cancer-sticks.... good luck!!!

You have done fantastically to have quit the smokes; now you really have to quit the gum. It's become a substitute, and you don't need it. Bit by bit, ease off it.
