Is NICOTINE natural or an addetive? |
Is Nicotine a natural substance in tobacco, or is it an additive? It is both it could be both, but I know it's an additive, and it could be strengthened when the tobacco companies want to make more money as it's also addictive. Nicotine is an alkaloid found in the nightshade family of plants (Solanaceae), predominantly in tobacco, and in lower quantities in tomato, potato, eggplant (aubergine), and green pepper. Nicotine alkaloids are also found in the leaves of the coca plant. It is naturally occurring in tobacco although tobacco companies have added extra to make cigs even more addictive. Nicotine is a natural substance found in tobacco plants, just like THC is a natural chemical in marijuana plants. That does not mean, however, that Big Tobacco have not bred the plants to possess higher and higher amounts of nicotine. It's Natural but some cigarette's have more nicotine than others that's why you my be confused. they put more in by adding from a concentrate eg: oil of. all the other chemical's they put in are more the problem. if a manufacturing company was to list all that's added to the cigarette. they would need to include an insert in the packet to inform the public of added. |
