Why not invent NICOTINE PILLS?

Since smokers are so addicted to Nicotine...
Instead of smoking cigarette and causing non smokers' health gone bad. And having tar in the lung.

Why not just give Smokers the Nicotine Pills?

Is Nicotine harmless?

Would it improve Smokers' health?

Or do we already have those?

There is nicotine patches and nicotine gum to help people quit smoking.

Nicotine is a serious drug with bad results. There are a variety of things with nicotine in them already to help people stop smoking and decrease their withdrawals from the reduction in nicotine: patches, gum, inhalers, nasal spray, and lozenges all exist with nicotine in them.

There are pills in development, and Zyban already exists, which use other methods to reduce the craving.
