Nicotine Overdose? Please answer asap?

Is it possible to overdose on nicotine? Today I was really depressed so I just sat down and smoked about 8 or 9 cigarrettes in a row (i'm a light smoker, at about 1/4 pack a day). I'm 17 male, and only weigh 130 (though I don't think weight has much to do with it). Anyway, its been 15 minutes and I feel like its 120 degrees, I'm sweating like crazy, my head feels like its going to explode, I'm nautious and I feel like I'm about to pass out. I have never heard of anyone overdosing on nicotine, but what is happeneing? Please, I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Yeah, I don't want to tell anyone, because my parents don't know I smoke and they would lose it. i was planning in quitting in 5 days (as soon as exams are over). please help.

This has happened to me before, I was smoking one after the other (due to stress) and I felt VERY nausaus and felt like passing out, I just went to lie down and that feeling passed, Lie down for a while, youll be fine, And it IS an over dose of nicotine,

i,ve never heard of anything like that if you smoked outside perhaps it was the heat!

nicotine is a poison...
but in your case all these feelings will go away soon

It is quite possible to overdose on nicotene - just ask anybody who has ever made the mistake of having a smoke while they were on the patch...
