Is Nicotine Overdose possible?

Has anybody heard of someone dying from a nicotine overdose? My cousin recently passed away, and it was supposedly from a nicotine overdose. He didn't even smoke ciggarettes that much. I think it is a bunch of bullshit, but I could be wrong.

You can have a severe reaction to too much nicotine in your body.
I tried to quit smoking and used patches, but alas, I continued to smoke while wearing a patch, and had a bad reaction, But, if your
cousin did not smoke, I would wonder where that amount of nicotine was able to be found in his body. I don't know of any other source that would deliver any amount of nicotine to a body.

I know you can work your way into an asthma attakc from chain smoking for a long while.

Yes, nicotine is a poison.

I'm sure its possible if you got enough into your system at one time, but I've never heard of it before, I would think it would be more likely to die from asphixiation from smoking to than o.d.ing on nicotine.

NO

Nicotine is a poison. How did he injest it?

Yes it's possible, but hard to do. Nicotine is a poison.

If he didn't smoke that much and smoked a LOT in one go...or was chewing tobacco and got a higher concentration than normal, it could poison him to the extent it would kill.

He may have had an intolerance to it...it took much less than normal to kill him...like a food allergy or something along those lines.

I am sorry for your loss...that sucks a lot.

wel...
it could be possible
