Nicotine gum question...........? |
My new hubby used to chew tobacco, but he has been using the nicotine gum for over a year now. He chews 4 pieces of 2mg many times a day. ( I am talking several boxes of 90/week). What are the risks? I have tried to wean him off with regular gum, but no luck. Any ideas? The nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) industry want smokers to believe that a natural poison is medicine, that its can be used as a therapy, and that it is somehow different from the tobacco than the nicotine found in any other nicotine product. The truth is that the pharmaceutical industry buys its nicotiana from the exact same growers as the tobacco industry. The pharmaceutical industry is making billions selling nicotine to nicotine addicts. Persuade him politely, with reasoning might be he will improve, however old habits die hard, you will have to be tactful, this all you can do. |
