what does a nicotine patch do? please explain i have wanted to know if it helps or if it just gives you the same effect as smoking...thanks.. yea i know but like do you have the same effect as smoking like the feeling that you are smoking or is it to stop your addiction?!?! A nicotine patch is a transdermal patch that releases nicotine into the body through the skin. It is usually used as a method to quit smoking. I have smoked for over 25 years and was on the patch. They work great instead of the cigarettes until you go without them. Then you want a smoke. Finally had to go to the doc for a prescription and I'm happy to say I am cigarette free! |
