Nicotine Patches...pains in my arms? |
I have just started a course of 24 hour nicotine patches to stop smoking. On Monday I applied one to the right side of my trunk and an hour later got really bad pains/ craps down my right arm. It went off after about 20 minutes. Yesterday, the same on the left side but I thought it may just be me freaking. Today, went back to the right side and the same again in my right arm. As well as the pain it is hard to use my arm for a time. Looked at the warnings and it doesn't mention anything like this. Anyone got any advice or ideas. Thanks. I had the same problem. It feels like a dead arm and it hammers. they are too strong for you. what mg patch are you using, 7, 14 or 21..take them off..... wow that not good take it off and talk to your dr I've got no advice for you but all i can say is don't give up Had the exact same problem. Also, a lot of times, I'd get really itchy under the patch. Make sure you don't wear them in the same spot every day. Alternate. Honestly, though, I recommend Chantix. I smoke for 19 years and tried quitting a million times using every different method available. I've finally been able to quit and stay quit using Chantix. Check it out.... I've had the SAME problem. The guy that recommends Chantix seems to be giving you GREAT advice. Everyone I know who has tried it, swears by it. Even my father, who smoked for maybe 40 years has quit.....and it's the only thing that HAS made him quit. Good luck babe! :) |
