My niacin b complex supplement is giving me a hot spell is this going to go away?

sometimes i get all flushed with a fever when i take niacin. a aspirin was advised but it usually goes away...will i finally get immune to this ?

The "niacin flush" usually happens with high doses. Depending on why you are taking it and if it was perscribed, you may want to look at the dose. The flushing is not supposed to be harmful, but can be annoying. I believe niacin also comes in extended release form. That would prevent the dose from hitting all at once and causing the flush. I don't know if you would ever become immune to the flushing.
