Im taking Niacin to clean out my system but when I take it I dont feel anything. Whats wrong?

I need to pass a drug test so I am taking Niacin that I bought at wal mart. My friends say your supposed to itch and your skin is supposed to turn red but mine doesnt. I took 3 500mg pills and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong???

The stores have started selling Niacin that is "non-flush" and that means that you don't itch, your skin doesn't turn red, etc.

Look at the bottle of Niacin you bought and see if it says that it's non-flush.

It is also possible that you are NOT Niacin deficient. It only makes us itch and the skin turn red because we're deficient. It does it to me but it doesn't do it to my brother, even when he takes more than I do, but our naturopathic doctor says that it's because when you're deficient then the Niacin opens up your capillaries and veins, opens them wider, but if you're not deficient then they're already open as far as they're supposed to be.
