Why does people say take niacin to pass a drug test?

Why, what does niacin have that in it to help pass a drug test?

Common side effect of Niacin is that it causes many people to get very red and warm in the face, or a "flushing" reaction. People misinterpret this to be the same as "flushing" out your system. Niacin will do nothing to mask, eliminate, or "flush out" illicit drugs if you are doing a drug screen (fyi--if you take niacin, you can decrease the flushing by taking with food, or 1 aspirin 1/2 hour before taking the niacin)

Want the best way in the world to pass a drug test?

stop taking drugs

Don't listen to all that B.S. The only way to pass a drug test is to stay clean. There are many inexpensive and expensive things you can buy (and philosophies on the subject you could listen to)- but they DO NOT WORK. As a matter of fact, most drug-testers will look for the ingredients of these homemade and store-bought remedies when examining the content of the urine sample, and, if they find any, your test will automatically be considered "dirty" just for having any of these things in it....
Even drinking more water (to dilute your urine) will likely cause your sample to be considered "tampered with" and therefore "dirty". Anything that changes the PH balance, too, will have this effect. My advice to you is to stay clean (I know it's easier said than done) if you can. And if you can't, well, it takes anywhere from a week to 30 days to clear your system of pot, and 7 days to 2 weeks for meth. Alcohol clears the system much faster. Good luck!

Some high dose vitamins may interfere with the test, but it really depends on the type of test, who is manufacturing it and what drug it is testing for. Any high dose water soluble vitamin (Vit C or the B's) will be easy to see in your urine as it will change the color. At best if you got an inconclusive test (interferring substance) you would only have to retake the test and would delay your results. It is highly unlikely that any high dose substance is going to "fool" a urine test.
