Sorry to hear about your suffering. Obviously your docs missed on the diagnosis. I am not sure what your question is, but it seemed that you are already being care of by a team of physicians and pharmacists. I know that modern medicine has its limits and that can be so frustrating. I also have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, but never had corrective surgery, I have Neuropathy due to stroke. and an autoimmune disease. Here is an information page. I hope it helps. My thought is that your blood may be to thick, as mine is. I am on anticoagulants which helps some. Ask your doctors about the drug neurontin......it is a seizure drug that they have found out helps neuropathy....alot of people go on this after chemo because of nerve damage....mayo clinic put my cousin on 1500 mg per day and she says it is a miracle drug for her....she had had chemo and had neuropathy in her legs...hope this info helps During your surgery something might have happened to a nerve that is making this happen, the neuropathy. I take cymbalta for my neoropathy and I think it is working well. You might talk to a doctor about it and also discuss the possibilities of something being damaged in there to cause this pain. Your best bet would be a neuro surgeon!! Please give a neuro surgeon a try and see what he can do for you!! I really think it would be worth your pain and suffering!! |
