Hi all. Does anyone out there have Demyelinating Neuropathy? I haven't seen that posted yet.? |
Demyelinating Neuropathy is when the myelin sheath that protects our nerves is deteriorating. Very painful. I have it in my feet and hands. Almost like perepheral. I have had it now for a couple yrs and I'm already on morphine "time released" tabs. No one seems to know how I've "aquired" this and there isn't any clinical studies on this but there is on perepheral neuropathy. I know this because I work in clinical studies. I only wonder what the future holds for me? ONE DAY AT A TIME! I have peripheral neuropathy been on oxycontin for sometime now. and its getting to the point that doesnt even help. its like walking on the sun barefooted. my anles up are getting numb and my toes the pain is unbearable. so i do know kinda what youre going thru too. do you have any suggestions for me lol. i have been diagnosed with some type of neuropathy. when the dr. described how it would progressively get worse i broke down and didn't hear what the name of my condition was. i have another appt. this thursday and will try to find out more info. none of this helps but it is good to know i am not alone in whatever is wrong with me. i have started on lyrica and hydrocodone. neither is helping much right now. |
