Is there effects on my penis by peripheral neuropathy?

i have peripheral neuropathy in my right leg although i don't have any glucose disturbance. but now i fell my penis little anesthetized. is this effect of peripheral neuropathy ?

Could be my husband has diabetic neuropathy and finds that using viagra or like product helps.
