What is the difference between RLS and Neuropathy? Dr's first thought I had Neuropathy, now they are say RLS |
Please help!!! I am at the point where I really need to get some sleep. I have de-pleated our medicine cabinets of any pain killers. I have tried all the possible drugs for Neuropathy and or RLS, like Lycria, Neurontin, Requip, I have tried vicks on my legs, muscle rubs, just about everything. I just can't get to sleep. If I finaly get to sleep with the aide of pills then I am okay, but this is an every night thing and I need some releif. If anyone has any suggestions that they have found that works please let me know. Does anyone know of a Doctor in Missouri that specializies in the field? I too have the same problem (left side stings all of the time) .. Neurontin, Clonzapam, and Antriptiline. The later being the strongest will only help a little.. I take Clonzapam and a Tylenol PM every nite and get by.. The bad news as far as I have found no pain reliever really helps... Either way they are telling you there is a problem relating to your muscles that are too tight causing pain. If you would like to try something that has a 75% success rate pick up and read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. Your problem may go away if you follow what it teaches. |
