Comfortable dress shoes to wear with neuropathy? |
I have autonomic neuropathy and can no longer wear shoes with ANY kind of heel for more than half hour without getting nerve pain (sore muscles) that will last the rest of the day and very painful leg cramps. I haven't been working for over a year, so I usually get away with wearing tennis shoes or sandals but would like to "dress up" occasionally without having to suffer for it. Is there a comfortable dressy flat that won't give me leg cramps and pain and won't make me look (or feel) like an "old lady"? I have feet with challenges too and the best source I've found is Nordstom, if you have one near you. They have a huge selection and lots of choices and sizes - plus they will order and ship to you free if they don't have your size in a certain style. Zappos is a good online site, but I like to try mine on unless its a brand I've bought before and I know it will fit. Just wear flats or a dressy flat sandal |
