Neurofibromatosis???

Do you suffer NF?
I dont at all want to be snoopy, I just did a science project on the Elephant Man and yes, I know he didnt have that, he had Proteus Syndrome. (Ialso know the difference between the two diseases.)
What I want to know is, does it really get so bad where your face gets distorted and you cant walk so good? Is there a icture of you if you have the disease that I may see?
I apologize for sounding rude...I'm simply curious.
Does it also really get even half as bad as the Elephant Man?

My son has NF1, and each and every case is different. I once asked his doctor are people as severe as John Merrick still born to this day, he said yes...however with modern medicine, you'll never see it.

My suggestion is to Google NF and go to the websites, see for yourself. The most you will find are people with small tumours, scoliosis and some learning difficulties.

i did a project on NF as well...i have it myself, and i needed pics of a worse case of it. i just googled it, and looked at the images section...there should be pics that can help ya. Report It
