I have Neurofibromatosis?

would this be a high risk pregnancy ? if so what do i need to exprct when being pregnant with Neurofibromatosis. thank you to all who answer

I have NF type 1. There is a 50% chance of passing this on to your children. It does not make your pregnancy higher risk.
I have two children. One has NF one doesn't. NF varies in degrees from person to person.. You never know how you will be affected. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions you have. There are web sites both in Canada and the US with lots of info that is correct, look for the sites with the NF society or Hospital sites for more info.
Hormones can effect the growth of your fibromas. Mine grew a tiny bit during pregnancy. The next time to expect them to grow will be menopause.
