Upper abdominal and flank pain?-neurofibromatosis? |
I have been having upper right abdominal and right side flank pain since december. my ultrasound, liver blood work and upper endoscopy were normal. I have an abdominal/pelvic CT this week. My gi doc says i might have fatty liver or a spastic duct but has also theorised gallbladder and pancreas. I've had nausea but am taking prilosec to help that. .I had a baby 6 months ago.i haven't started my period yet because i am breastfeeding. i just recetly started having pain in my right side during sex. it was bad enough for us to stop.i know i'm not pregnant. my pain is usually dull and uncomfortable but occationally bad enough to double me over. my doc suggested i need to learn to live with the pain and do nothing but i'm worried because i have neurofibromatosis. It seems like he doesn't care or have a clue. He was hesitant to even order the CT. Anyone have any idea what this could be? i don't want to give up. My best guess is, it's the Neurofibromatosis. I have a large mass on my right upper part of my leg, it hurts like heck, comes and goes, can be a sharp pain, other times it feels like a pinch. I would suggest getting in contact with a neuro doctor, one that know what nf is. I have a nf doctor, for mine, I am able to get pain medication, which helps a little. Also here is a site, that maybe able to help you out. No idea but at least get a different doctor.. GET CHECKED FOR A HATIAL HERNIA |

I have it. I to have the pins and needle feelings and sometimes the numbness, feeling which led to me getting another one of those fun MRI's which they found tumor pressing against my spine ar... At NO POINT during my consultations have they ever mentioned MS and I hope they never do. We have enough to contend with!! Sorry to ask spud but what NEUROFIBROMATOSIS? ...It sounds like your NF is causing some problems for you, mainly discomfort while breastfeeding. What remains to be seen is if the NF is causing your low breast milk production. If the nerve impulse... In about 5% of cases it can be. I have neurofibromatosis, just last week I had 35 neurofibromas removed.
