Coping with Neurofibromatosis??? |
We heard today that our 9wk old g/daughter has a 90% chance of having NF. I would like any hints, tips, solutions etc so that we can be of the most benefit to her, & her parents. We have read up on it, but are unfamiliar with it personally, so any assistance would be welcomed. (youre welcome to email me on sleepy_rower@yahoo.com if you want to ask anything else by the way) i have lots of cafe u late marks on my stomach, back, neck, legs, armpits. im 18 now and i went through very late puberty i didnt get my period till a week or two bwfore my 15th birthday. i also had bad migranes about the same time which i got lots of x-rays and stuff for and its possibe that they were related but they seem to have resolved themselves. ive also had joint and inflamation problems which also may be related. nf is one of those things that gets blamed for a lot when itmay not actually be the cause, so its not really as terrible as it seems, dont worry! |
