Anybody ever heard of Neurofibromatosis?

i'd like to know if anyone out there has it. i have it and my baby will most likely have it too. I just want to hear from someone who has it too

yes it can get worst when your pregnant. i have 2 kids and both times i was pregnant i had more "bumps" showing up.

hi im 18 and i have nf type one but i don't know that much about i kind of hid the fact that i had nf from my friends because i was afraid they might view me differentley i still havent told any of my friends i just tell everyone i have birthmarks it was nice seeing somebody posted something about nf cause not alot of people heard of it

yes i have it its not as bad as it seems i am 37 mostly i have the big brown spots and the lumps i had one removed from my eye lid they do sometimes itch its the worst thing for me would like to talk to more find out if it is f1 or f2 i am f1

I have NF1. I am a genetic mutation... didn't inherit it from Mom or Dad I had 2 "birth marks" when I was born, which I later learned were cafe au lait marks. A lot more of these brown spots have appeared since then, plus lots of the normal, benign "bumps" (fibromas). I am lucky that they are mostly on my back and torso, covered by clothing. I chose not to have children because of NF. Is it true that symptoms worsen with pregnancy? Email me anytime about the topic!

I have it. My mother had it and my daughter has it. So far at 13 there is no sign of it on my granddaughter. It's a strange disease as it can do different things to different people. Can I wear a bikini? No, but I still have one man that finds me sexy.

It is no great mystery, as most "experts" would like to have it.

This is about approaching the disorder at cellular level, restoring the ability for cellular identification to take place - transfer of all biological data within the human body.

The same process is evident in human genes and DNA, which makes the solution probably bigger than the discovery of DNA.
