Has any one heard of neurofibromatosis? |
i have it yes , my son had it and i hope you are being followed by a neurologist on a constant basis. its very important ..... Yes. yes,i think i might have it! my husband thinks im a hypochondriac,so i really dont know for sure.im too embarassed to see the dr,in case i am a hypochondriac!i saw a show about it on tv once. This is something you were born with. It's also called Von Recklinghausen's disease and is where tiny bengn, non spreading, tumors form on the periphal nerves. When I was 15 I found out I had it, it sucks, but I deal with it the best I can. So far I've had two surgery's. My first one was a minor one I was able to go home right after it and then my second one was a major one, I had to stay in the hospital for almost a week. I'm 23 now. |
