Im 38 and think i have neurofibromatosis what can i do? I'm surprised you're that old and haven't been diagnosed before this. Have you not had any symptoms up til now? Anyway, if you're lucky, you won't get too many flare-ups and will have a normal life expectancy. Sometimes matoses occur inside the body, so that would have to be addressed. See your doctor and find out for sure. There are great support groups on-line and a newsletter is available that you can sign up for. Just go to Google and key in neurofibromatosis and you'll see many links you'll find helpful. Good luck. |
