Can we give iron supplements to a 5 year old child who has a cancer Neuroblastoma stage 4?

we give some supplements to our child such as bio enzime-natural fruit, Scott Emulsion, vit. b complex+lysine, vit. c,Clusivol

Do not give any type of supplement to a five year old cancer patient without explicit instructions about dosage and effects on current treatment. Talk with your pediatric oncologist about what you are doing. You may be unintentionally strengthening the tumors (they are a part of your childs body and benefit in the same way the child may) or worse counter-attacting (reverse or making it ineffective) current treatment. Talk to your childs health care team.

Best to you. My son was diagnosed with stage IV abdominal sarcoma about 22 months ago, so I understand. We used tradional medicine and he has had significant response. He eats a well balanced meal and does not take any type of vitamins or supplements at all. He's doing better than his doctors thought that he would as only a few cm nodules are left.

ASK YOUR CHILD'S PHYSICIAN. Please- obviously your child is very ill and what a hard thing to have to deal with. Make sure all supplements you give him/her do not have side effects with the medications he/she is prescribed. It is important to know how they react with each other.

For the child's sake, ask your oncologist. Any naturapathic supplements you give the child could interfere with the medications. Always check with the doctor before giving OTC stuff in addition to prescribed medicine, Please.

Make sure your doctors know what the child is receiving. Some of these may affect therapy and some may help the cancer cells more.
