Whay is the history of the child cancer, neuroblastoma? Neuroblastoma is a tumor of children under ten years resembling primitive nerve cells. Most originate in the abodomen or adrenal glands with occasional involvement of brain or spinal cord. It is staged from 1-4 like most cancers and with early detection and no spread the prognosis is good. In stage 4 with spread to nodes and other organs it is poor. |
