My Grandaughter has terminal Neuroblastoma?

She has sorry really cannottalk about this at this time .last night she was admmitted back into hospital with coughing up and passing blood in her urine .The Dr said she was tachacardial whats this pls

Everyone has already told you what tachycardia is, a fast heart rate. I just needed to make the comment that Nurse Mac was not correct in telling you neuroblastoma was a brain tumor. While it can be in the brain, most of the time it is not. Do not doubt the diagnosis based on his comments.

I am sorry for you and your family.

Tachycardia means a galloping pulse.

if its tacycardic.. it just means she would have a fast pulse... so above 100beats per min..
If you dont understand what the dr is talking about you are very much in your right to ask him to reword it. Otherwise talk to her nurses. i find they are able to comfort and explain the technical stuff much better than dr;s can anyway

Tachycardia is heart beat greater than normal... Neuroblastoma is a tumor in the brain... You can distinguish this kind of illness with symptom like frequent headache. There are two types of brain tumor. communicating and non communicating. Communicating tumor - there is no blockage in the flow of cerebro spinal fluid, while non communicating- there is blockage in the flow of Cerebro spinal fluid which results in hydrocephalus. Sometimes when there is blood in urine, there might be an infection or stones in the urinary tract. For you to be assured if your daughter have neuroblastoma, please ask your doctor about it and request for necessary medical workup like brain scan or tomography.

Praying for your grand daughter
