I suffered from pins and needles disease, some Doctor said it is due to nerve and some said is anxiety?

Which is correct

How anyone here give a valid answer when two doctors can even agree?

Depression/Anxiety and physical aches and pains do seem to have a strange connection though. Did you know that some antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs are also given for pain?

Elavil is an old antidepressant that was also given for nerve pain.

Paxil is used to treat depression/anxiety and sometimes pain.

Cymbalta is a relatlively new drug given to treat both depression and nerve pain. I'm taking Cymbalta and it works on my depression and carpal tunnel syndrome at the same time--I wish I had this medication 30 years ago.

i have lupus-- some forms of lupus cause that (lupus cerabritus(spelling?))

Nerves. It could be nerve damage due to use of medications which affect the nervous system, or nerve damage from diabetes, or nerve damage from chemo drugs, or pressure on the spinal cord, or a misaligned spine. Many possibilities.

i beleive that anxiety and the nervous system are greatly related somehow. i suffer from tinnitus, burning mouth syndrome, and OCD (an anxiety disorder) when my anxiety is up ( when i am "nervous") my ears ring louder and my mouth burn worse and my teeth hurt. there is obviously a connection.also, very high anxiety can cause numbness in the hands and soles of your feet.
