I might be having a nerve block (lower back pain - degenerative disc disease). Anyone have advice/experience?

I sure would appreciate it. I've had 2 out of 3 epidural steroid shots, with only 2-3 days of slight relief. I'd be interested to hear anyone's experience and thank you!

Do you go to a Pain Management Clinic? They are the best in dealing with PAIN ISSUES ONLY! I've taken my Dad to the Pain Clinic, and he had an epidural done, which helped him immensely. Along with Physical Therapy, and the right type of medications, you will be on the road to a better life. Hope this helped. Take Care!

I had a block for upper back and it softened the pain in the trunk of my body. Problem is when it wore off it was all at once and not gradual so i could get the pain pills down. While it was working i was sooooo happy and out of pain.

. I've had BAD back pain for many years. I was told to get a back-brace and spinal fussion.
Two pills that work wonders are Celebrex and Diclofenac, which might screw up your kidneys.
But it 'washes' away the pain in a day or two. It's a life-saver for me.

I have had a disc removed from my c6,7 area with a bone fusion.I now try to keep up with the new procedures that are being developed.I dont know if you have seen it yet but there is supposed to be this artificial disc they can replace your bad one with.I know it's probably too late for some of us but it's still a cool thought.Sorry about your pain,did they already remove the disc or is there nothing more they can do.

pls try using acv (apple cider vinegar)
