Why would a Dr. prescribe 5 antidepressants, anxiety med., nerve pain med., narc. patch, other pain med.,all? |
My daughters have had health problems most of their lives, I have Identical twins, both with Crohns, but one had severe chronic pain for two or more years. Did work in dental lab, exposed to silica dust, concerned. Don't know where to turn. Too much medication, sudden weight gain w/out increased appetite. Depression worsens, suicidal at times from pain, needs to stop pain, only relief is marijuana but doesn't want to. Where do I turn for real help? She is 22. Twin is on disability but she is still waiting because she became ill later. Twin has many problems, headaches, depress, but not the chronic pain. Some other auto-immune disease? So sorry to hear about that. I'm wondering if you may want to get a second opinion. Did you see a family practioner? Perhaps you need a specialist to look at her. Good luck. I'm sorry for your daughters' troubles and yours. |
