Can injections damage Nerves in the body?

About a month ago i went to the doctor for a HIV test Immediately after he withdrew my blood i started having pins and needles all overmy body, itching all over ,burning sensation on my face legs and hands which has left small marks,diarrhea and gassy stomach and pain behind the ears .Till now the pins has lessen but is worse in the evening and at night when its cold ,when the shooting pain is worse, its like PIN prick for just 1-2 seconds.My question is :Does anyone know what the diseases is.Does injection damage the nerve in one's body.Does anyone know anybody who has suffered or suffering from the same symptoms?Could this be an STD OR HIV symptom?
The neuro has already seen me and told me its anxiety but i think his wrong.

im going to have to agree with your nuro. first off i assume the blood was taken from your arm and therefore would not affect the nerves in your neck and face. not to mention it shouldent affect your stool. lastly even IF (and thats a big if) there was some nerve damage it will repair itself. nerves repair themselves at a rate fo about 1mm pr day.

BEEN TAKING BLOOD OUT OF PATIENTS FOR 32 YEARS AND NEVER HEARD OF WHAT YOU DESCRIBE - YOU HAD BLOOD WITHDRAWN NOT AN INJECTION. MAYBE NEURO IS CORRECT.

An injection can damage nerves if given wrongly but I have never heard of a blood test doing the same thing. The doctor is proabaly right and it is anxiety;

go for further tests
