What could be the cause of one swollen lymph node on left side of neck for more than a year? |
I was diagnosed with glomerular nephritis when I was 16. I am now 30 and my primary care physician said that the kidneys are not cleaning the body properly. The thing is that my left tonsil has a small tag on it and gets sore on and off for the past year. I also wake up with kidney pain in the mourning and I don't feel well rested. Fatigue has been with me for a couple of years if not more.I saw an ENT and has scheduled an MRI. Anybody ever have the same thing and could provide answers? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you. You should be seeing a nephrologist, if you are not already. When the kidneys are not happy they usually make sire other parts of you are not either. Also an endocrinologist can look further into the swollen lymph node. You may actually have an autoimmune condition yet to be diagnosed which is causing the combination of things. When ever a test is done be sure to request copies for your self to take from doctor to doctor so everyone is on the same page. I have had an autoimmune condition for many year, Lupus - SLE. |
