If yo've had neck injuries before and you have one again, do injuries pile up??

I'm having some kind of whiplash kind of neck injury. had it yesterday cause we were trimming some trees, and i had to lift heavy loads of branches, and throw them up to the pickup. also i did other things, like bending branches so that they break,, and i would suddenly break it and kind of experienced a few locking sensations on the neck as i came down breaking the branch . Anyways, in 2003 i had a bad whiplash injury when i was coming down from a ladder stepped, wrong, kind of landed hard with one foot. So that injury was pretty much healed, OR IS it? now that i have this new one, does it mean, it won't heal fast cause i had this other injury before?? am i doomed?

I hurt my neck really bad about four years ago, rushed to the hospital...the real deal pretty much. Anyway, my neck has been easily injured ever since, it feels the same as it did four years ago sometimes...but as time has gone by, I've noticed the injuries and pain have gotten to be less. So no, I don't think your doomed...just give it time. Maybe four years? hehe

I broke my 2nd cervical vertebrae (c2) in 2002, and the doctor warned me that future neck injuries were likely. Once it gets messed up, it's likely to happen more often.
