Post Head/Neck Injury Symptoms...what to expect that's normal? |
It's been 19 days since I slammed my head into a tree while cycling. I was wearing a helmet but the 2nd impact was to my right ear. Instead of getting better I feel I'm getting worse. I'm experiencing ear ringing, electric shocks in my face, mental confusion, neck pain. My CT scan and x-rays were normal, but with each day the ringing and confusion gets worse. My doc appt f/up isn't until Monday. Are these normal symptoms and what can I do to alleviate my panicky feeling from the confusion? muscle damage, bruising and tightening symptoms could last 2 weeks |
