People at work accuse me of faking neck pain and headaches (see context)? |
I don't know what to do about my Director and co-workers. I was out of work 2 days in Aug. and 1 in July for severe neck pain headaches & pins and needles in both hands. It started to hurt really bad to write or type. You need to let them know that your pain is real, I would suggest sitting down and talking to the director and talking to them. If they do not listen to you, you may need to go to another person (preferably above your director) and let them know about this problem. They have to work with you on this. I know how it feels to have people think that you are faking your pain, I have a chronic pain condition and I'm only 15, which many kids in school think that I'm faking my condition or I am pretending the pain for attention or medications which I would not do because why would I put myself through what I've been though (which includes 6 surgeries in the past year and a half). Good luck! tell HR ,who has the documents, you're being harrassed...they'll take care of it ASAP... There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic. |
